The Search for a Perfect Twitter App
UPDATE: To save you time, I’ve summarized the article: I want landscape keyboard, integrated photo features, instead of the app just showing me the twitpic/yfrog page, integrated Google Maps for location links, and icon badges so I know how many tweets I have to look at.
Conclusion: I’m using Tweetie right now, but really want something better

So… I’m sold. I’m a tweetdeck user, now (for my iPhone. The desktop app is still garbage). The Columns and the new item counts are really cool.
I have a few suggestions, though.
- it needs an app badge. I know I need to be in the app to check, but still. Badges are welcome.
- Landscape input mode. Seriously. I want landscape in everything.
- Trending topics column....
Not happy
Tumble Pro is the exact same as the official tumblr app and they charge 2.99 for it. Someone should get their app removed

BeeJive IM is Wonderful!...er
So BeeJive and AIM finally put out their 3.0-enhanced apps. I don’t really care about AIM because… I use Beejive IM which is the cadillac of IM apps. It looks slick (even slicker now in the new version) and lets me log in to AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, and even Facebook, amongst others.
I’m starting to get tired of talking about why I love Beejive so I’ll just stick in some...
