What I hope to get soon, with 3.0
Netflix notifications for when movies have been shipped out and received
Twitter notifications for direct messages and mentions that aren’t retweets [I don’t expect this for a long while]
AIM notifications are a given, but it’s not likely to be practical after the “wow” factor wears off.
App Store auto updates. Most of the time, I mass update, anyway. So just do it for me automatically and notify me when updates are installed.
Email alerts. I know it beeps when I get an email, but it’d be nice to have a notification that tells me who the IM is from
SMS and Email quick access. It would b great if, when I got an SMS, instead of having to quit what I’m doing to read it or reply to it, if I could get a quick screen to deal with it.
That’s all. Other than that, I am loving the 3.0 OS, so far. A little miffed about lack of MMS, though. I mean… AT
