I don’t get Loopt, but I *want* to, for some reason.So
So… it seems like Loopt is basically Twitter with a heavier emphasis on geolocation. I already do this and so do most of my friends. See something tweet-worthy, snap a pic, post it up with a Google Maps link. Pretty handy, especially on the iPhone.
This Loopt stuff… I dunno. I feel like I want to get it and use it more, but it’s just not as practical as Twitter has become.
On the upside, like everything else on the planet (no joke), Loopt can be set to post a shortened link to Twitter, offering up the same content as the Google + Twitpic/yFrog tweet, but now both peices of content are jammed into the same space.
They should figure out a better way to do that.
