Kid Cudi - Pursuit of Happiness

I have always wanted to make a hip-hop music video. MC’s take note.

This was definitely one of my favorite albums of 2009, which says a lot because I don’t normally enjoy hip-hop. The Kid Cudi album managed to do more then just blend genres or create collaborative mashups of sorts.

This song, in particular, features Ratatat and MGMT and it’s great. It feels like what you would get if these three artists hung out for a while, rather than just showed up to make a few songs together.

If you haven’t already, find a friend to borrow this from (I promise you, you have one), or do the whole download thing (you shameful thieves).
