I didn’t realize until just a few days ago, that conservatives don’t believe in climate change. It boggles my mind. Like why would you want to fight the notion that we aren’t taking care of our planet the best we could?

It’s not like “going green” is hurting anyone. In fact, from a capitalist standpoint, being pushed to buy an American-made, fuel-efficient car seems like a sound plan. We even have high-powered SUVs that are “green” so it’s not like the conservative-American lifestyle is even changing by “going green”. Your energy bills go down, there are tax credits all over the place, etc. etc.

It’s not even like these people are taking a stance against hippies, either. Folks that refuse to acknowledge climate change are standing against scientists. SCIENTISTS! Not the lame scientists trying to figure out how to make cows bigger without killing us in the process, but the scientists trying to harvest the Sun for energy, build super soldiers, and are genuinely pursuing ways to kill our enemies in the most science-fiction-y manner possible.

Can I get an explanation from someone on this? Please?
