Come on guys, Just because some girls like the taste of controllers doesn’t mean she’s not a gamer.
I hate this type of stuff and I think it bugs me because it always comes from women, or men who don’t quite grasp the concept of a woman or humanity in general.
Women — everyone actually — can be whatever they want and present that in any manner they choose. Just because you take a sexy picture with an XBOX controller doesn’t make you any less of a gamer than the girls that show up at cons dressed as an obscure character from an anime you’ve never heard of.
Heaven forbid a woman want to feel “sexy” and take a picture while doing so.
The argument of “[this] is what a [that] looks like” is really defeating to all parties involved.
ADDENDUM: I’m not comfortable with the word “slut” appearing on my blog. I have many thoughts on the word and how it’s used that I’m sure I’ll get in to some other time.
If you’re sad about being single this holiday season, remember that even Kim Kardashian is unmarried 293 days a year

For some reason, Kim Kardashian’s brief marriage is still humorous to me.
Not because people think it was a scam or whatever, but because we have nonsense like this, The Bachelorette, MySpace marriage reality contests, and somehow gay couples are the ones that are diluting the institution of marriage.

Arrested Development on Netflix
Arrested Development coming to Netflix, exclusively, is kind of huge.
The fourth season is highly anticipated and will be well-received, even if it’s not great. The characters, writing, and stories all work at such a level, that even a “not that great” episode is still streets ahead of other shows.
I don’t know how Netflix got the deal or why the show opted to go online-only, but it’s such a tremendous move. If the show does as good or better than it did on a network, it further validates the concept that we don’t need traditional networks, anymore.
