So Heather has been painting things forever, usually doing works on commission. But she’s built up a pretty collection of personal work. I thought I’d help her get up and running with a simple online shop to sell prints of her work and a few of the canvases.
I’m calling this an experiement because we’re really learning as we go, but so far, I like what we’ve made here.
Right now, things are very basic. We’re using BigCartel to power the store, PayPal for checkout and we’re fulfilling orders by hand.
This is part of what I’m calling “The Passion Initiative” to get my friends more pro-active about their passions, using the power of the Internet. Next up, is going to be my brother’s music.
We’ll see how it goes.
